Formats

Why convert images to PDF?

Unlike sending a ZIP of loose images (which many email clients won't preview), a PDF opens instantly in every browser and document viewer. Recipients can scroll through pages, zoom in, and print without needing any special software.

Page size options explained
A4 (210 x 297 mm) is the international standard paper size used in most countries outside North America. Choose this for documents that may be printed on standard office paper in Europe, Asia, or Australia.
US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) is the standard paper size in the United States and Canada. Use this when the PDF will be printed on American letter-size paper.
Fit to Image makes each page exactly the size of the image, with no margins or white space. This is ideal for digital viewing or when you want the images to fill the entire page.
How browser-based PDF generation works
This tool uses pdf-lib, an open-source JavaScript library, to build the PDF entirely in your browser. Each image is embedded into a new page, scaled to fit the selected page size with proper margins, and the final PDF is assembled in memory. Completed results are retained locally until you explicitly download them; selected image bytes are never uploaded for conversion.
FAQ
- Are my images safe?
- Yes. PDF generation uses pdf-lib in your browser, and the conversion workflow does not upload selected image bytes. Disclosed page services make separate requests.
- Can I reorder the pages?
- Yes. Use the always-visible Previous and Next controls, Alt+Arrow keyboard shortcuts, or optional desktop drag and drop. The numbered list is the PDF page order.
- What page sizes are available?
- A4 (210 x 297mm), US Letter (8.5 x 11in), or Fit to Image. A4 and Letter use a 36-point margin and portrait, landscape, or per-image automatic orientation. Fit follows each image after rotation.
- Does it compress the images?
- JPG and PNG files are embedded without re-rasterizing. WebP is converted to PNG without JPEG compression for PDF compatibility. Standard pages scale large images down only; use the image compressor first if you need smaller source files.
- How many images can I add?
- Up to 50 images, 20 MiB and 20 megapixels each, with 64 MiB selected, 100 megapixels decoded, 64 MiB embedded, and 80 MiB retained-output limits. Files that exceed a limit are rejected with a specific reason while valid siblings remain usable.
